Elite+ Laser
The Elite+™ Aesthetic Workstation is a dual-wavelength system delivering reliable, cost-effective treatments for hair removal, vascular treatments, epidermal pigment, and wrinkle reduction.
What is the Elite+ laser?
The Elite+ laser is a multipurpose next-generation laser platform from the aesthetics industry’s leading company, Cynosure.
Elite+ includes two laser wavelengths, 755nm and 1064nm. The dual wavelengths allow your Roslyn Laser Hair Removal care provider to customize treatment for your skin type and needs.
How many Elite+ treatments do I need?
It varies by treatment, but in general, you can expect a series of treatments for ideal results.
Laser hair removal :
Laser hair removal typically takes around 3-6 treatments, which allows your Roslyn Laser Hair Removal practitioner to target all your unwanted hair in its active growth phase. Usually, treatments are spaced 4-8 weeks apart.
Laser vein removal :
Laser vein removal usually takes 1-4 treatments. Treatment frequency depends on how your veins respond to treatment but is typically every 4-8 weeks.
Pigmentation removal :
Elite+ treatment is an excellent way to reduce and remove unwanted pigmentation like age spots, sun damage, or freckles. The number of treatments depends on the amount of unwanted pigmentation, but many patients need just a few sessions.
Skin rejuvenation :
Skin rejuvenation includes fine line and wrinkle reduction, sun damage treatment, and age spot removal. Depending on the treatments you choose, you may need as few as one treatment. If you have multiple skin issues, a short series of treatments is ideal.

FAQs :
Can I treat a client who is taking a photosensitizing medication such as an antibiotic?
Drug-induced photosensitivity is caused by the light’s reaction to the medicine being taken. Most reactions occur when the skin is exposed to UVA and UVB rays (sunlight).
Although Roslyn lasers and light-based devices do no emit these types of wavelengths, we highly recommend that you still proceed with caution and perform test spots prior to treatment to determine client sensitivity and/or suitability.
My client is using a prescription topical (i.e. Retin-A, TriLuma, acne medications) on their face. How long should they wait before having a laser or light-based treatment?
Before proceeding, it is important to have a medical director assess your client’s skin to determine wait time. Roslyn recommends the treatment of healthy, non-irritated skin. In cases where the topical treatment has caused the skin to be dry, red, flaky, or otherwise irritated, patients should stop using the product 1-2 weeks prior to any laser treatment. See the Clinical Reference Guide for additional contraindications.
My client had gold therapy injections in the past, is it safe to treat with a laser?
Gold therapy is typically given either orally or by injection to treat arthritis. The laser energy causes a chemical reaction that results in a permanent bluish/gray skin discoloration called chrysiasis. Therefore, any client with a past or present history of gold therapy is contraindicated and treatment is not recommended.
